OUR APPROACH

The NLA has gathered large volumes of land market data in their system over the years and is now interested in carrying out relevant analytics to inform decision-making. At the request of NLA leadership, GanzAfrica seconded a team of young policy analysts to use the existing data, analyze them, and provide insights that inform the NLA leadership on appropriate decisions to take around resource allocation, re-alignment, update, and maintenance of their land registry system, staff deployment to manage backlogs, and forward planning through forecasts of transaction volumes. The end product will be an automated dashboard that leverages artificial intelligence to visualize data summaries for land transactions in real-time. This is a way to build institutional capacity to leverage data and evidence for policy decisions and actions.
