Project Background
In partnership with the Aubrey Barker Fund, GanzAfrica is addressing the need for practical skills development in land administration and land use planning among young professionals in Rwanda. Despite significant reforms, the next generation of land management professionals lacks sufficient hands-on experience to meet current and future demands. This project bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical application, equipping young professionals with the skills necessary to contribute effectively to the sector’s efficiency.
Project Aim
The project aims to build local capacity for efficient land administration and use planning through hands-on training, nurturing the next generation of land management specialists.
Project Objectives
- Equip young land administration and land surveying professionals with practical skills for their career development.
- Support the National Land Authority (NLA) by seconding skilled young professionals to assist in land administration and boundary correction tasks.
- Develop practical, experience-based training materials that bridge the gap between academic theory and field practice in land administration and surveying.
